Greetings programs,
I Know, I know, it has been a ridiculously long time since there were any updates to the site. I apologize for that, I am afraid I am still having problems writing from a comfortable position for any stretch of time long enough to write anything worth reading. I am still pecking away, with about a half dozen new sourcebooks in the fire. In various stages of progress are the long awaited Glass Road sourcebook/campaign, the nomad campaign book Dust and Sorrow, two unnamed sourcebooks (one on espionage and the other on an international emergency rescue), and a new entry for the district guide (hopefully with many to come after that).
There is reason to rejoice, for I am here to announce that the Datafortress 2020 File Project Cyberpunk Archive, has had a massive file update. Over 1200 new files, from simple 1 page ScreamSheets to full size sourcebooks, there is more to pick through here than ever thought possible.
It has been over a decade since any real updates to the Archive have taken place, and in that time I have been finding and hoarding every file of worth I have come across. While I personally write material almost exclusively for Cyberpunk 2020 and Interlock Unlimited, the Archive has always covered the R.Talsorian Franchise as a whole, from the main book lines of Cyberpunk, 2020, V3, and Cybergeneration, as well as the side products like the Netrunner and Cyberpunk collectible card games and novels. It should come as no surprise that the Archive has expanded to include Red, the video game Cyberpunk 2077 and the enormous tsunami of products related to them, including boardgames, card games, comic books, novels, anime, and more. While making the fan based products available to a wider audience is the primary function of the Archive, I have always seen it’s secondary function as the preservation fo the history of Fan support for the franchise we all love, and in turn, myself as a curator, a historian, a chronicler of the efforts of the many of us who have supported this franchise, and in some cases, kept it alive when the fires had almost gone out completely, before being resurrected like a Phoenix by the Cyberpunk 2077 video game and the unheard of resurgence of the franchise in its wake.
First up, on the official and semi-official front, we have the long sought after Input/Output, and Punk’ 21 issue 3. Complete Omnibus compilations of all Cyberpunk materials from Adventure, Arcane, and Challenge magazines. We also got a copy of the Cyberpunk CCG Official rules.

And for Red, we have Dead Lotus by Mr. Stidz, Threads of the Past by Empty Dingo, and My Bozo Valentine by Jessipur’s Tales. Number of files in the Archives Adventures category at this time, 124.
In the Character Sheets Category, some highlights for 2020 include a trigold sheet by Ralph Scott, a 4 page sheet by Pregent, and a highly detailed sheet by Eric Royer. The Badlands 2 Firearms Catalog by Firefly-1505, Vehicles of Red Conversion 2.0 by Capricious Nature, and A piece Of The Red - Drones by N. Jolly round out some of the Cyberpunk Red Highlights. There are, as of this writing, now 215 files in Gear.

The following is the list of the new contributors to the archive:
THE FULL LIST OF CREATORS AND CONTRIBUTORS CAN BE FOUND HERE
I was not able to reach ReverendStyx But added their files anyway because there is so little Cybergen material, and no one has heard from him in 2 decades The same applies to the owners of Cyber Cafe, Dead Channel, and Villa Straylight, whom I was not able to contact despite exhaustive searching, their files have been included in the hopes that they would have approved.
There are also a very small amount of files whose authors I am completely in the dark on, they are listed as “by Unknown.” Just know, I have spent many many hours trying to find you, exhausting every resource i had. Let this be a lesson to all you my friends, please, in some way or another, add credits to your work, especially your own…. sigh
If any of the names on this list want me to remove their files please reach out. and I will remove said files immediately.
I am still trying to find the following people, I have NOT included their files, but I would like to: If you can put me in contact with any of them, please do at wisdom000@gmail.com
There are a small number of folks who declined to be included. I hope they change their minds, as some of them really created some fantastic works. But all I can do is hold out hope, because their works deserve to be remembered and shared if something happens to their sites..
As you can see the Archive update was enormous, but that’s not all. The Hyperlinks page also got updated. Over the last 10+years, there have been many new sites, some have gone even before they could be added, but there are plenty of new sites, including some megasites such as Cedric’s Montreal Dataterm. Both Dimiscul (CLON.01,net) and my podcast co-host Cybersmily’s mega sites have made triumphant returns and are once again updating their sites regularly. I have removed the ranking system, simply because I no longer feel the need to make anyone who loves this game enough to create content for it, to feel lesser in any way.
The sad news is we lost a lot of pages, though every one I am aware of has been added to the Complete List of Every Cyberpunk Site, page including some of the last foundational Cyberpunk original Megasites. Among the fallen are Chris Conkles 2k20, Amy Luther and Gary Astelford’s Mockery’s, Nearopolitan, and Rust Never Sleeps. I cannot even begin to tell you how important and influential these sites were, how they still inspire me to this day. Heartbreakingly, my friend Paul “NyteFlyer” Romine, who ran Rust Never Sleeps/Paper Dragon/Tulsa 2020, passed away last year. We had grown apart over the years, but in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, we spoke almost daily over ICQ, collaborating and bouncing ideas off each other. I am thankful however, that while initially denying permission to archive his site, he also left implicit instructions that if his site ever went down, I had full permission to archive everything, which I have. Rest In peace my friend, your absence is sorely felt, and you will not be forgotten.
I would also like to once again thank all the donors who have given whatever they could to help me keep the site going, your support has been invaluable in keeping the site and the domain hosts happy.
Lastly, I would like to remind everyone about the Podcast I co-host with Will Piedmont, aka Cybersmily. We have been going strong four years now, broadcasting on Twitch hosted by Cybernation Uncensored, every first and third Wednesday of the month. You can see all our past episodes at the Tales From The Forlorn Dopes Playlist on the Cybernation Uncensored YouTube Channel. Over these last four years, the highlights of our time were the interviews, where we have talked with most of the 2013/2020 era staff and regulars of R.Talsorian Games. Writers, Artists, and Editors, Like Dave Ackerman, Benjamin Wright, Ross Wynn, Derek Quintanar, Ed Bolme, Will Moss, Craig Sheely, Chris Hockabout, Mike Jackson, Doug Anderson, and many more, as well as creators on the new era of Cyberpunk, like Jay Gray, James Hutt, Rob Barefoot, Linda Evans, Chris Spivey and Melissa Wong, among others. And, just for kicks, we have talked to notable internet personalities, Seth Skorkowsky, Rob Mulligan, and Miss Magitek. Plus our numerous product reviews for the franchise. Check us out!
Alright, With all that said, I hope you enjoy. Listen to the podcast if you want to hear two old coots, and their guests, ramble on about the glory days of the Cyberpunk Franchise, when we aren’t going off on tangents. Rejoice in what a monster the franchise has become, so large that I have purchased official party decorations and coloring books. And please, stay safe, protect each other, and fight the power. I promise I will keep working on the site, no matter how slowly the progression is. And I will try to be better at keeping people, and the site, updated.
Deric “Wisdom000” Bernier
